Generally events are determined by the Yomba Shoshone Tribe administration and are hosted by the department staff. The ASAP program and OEP program will be hosting a "Candle Making" starting at 5:30 PM in the ASAP building. Candle making offers the community a time to get together and share a common interest or goals. It allows for our community to become invested in things other than their own family traditions.

The longest walk
The YST is hosting people from the longest walk who will be in Yomba for 5 days. the walk is a walk for indigenous people. It is a spiritual walk for mind body soul as well as to make offerings and say prayers for our water and mother earth as well as her resources! Donations and volunteers are welcome. Otherwise come enjoy new people and learn about new cultures as well as the Yomba Shoshone people.
