Yomba Shoshone Tribe's Office of Environmental Protection (OEP) is funded by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) General Assistance Program (GAP) and Non-Point Source Program by virtue of the Clean Water Act.

Yomba OEP regularly offers workshops to heighten community awareness on environmental issues such as:

Climate Change, Emergency Mitigation, Waste Management, Recycling, and CWA Watershed Management.



OEP is currently working with the USDA to bring a new and effective water system to the Yomba Shoshone Tribe. If successful, construction may occur as early as Spring 2018.
